Description
An exceptional coffee table, in a limited series of 8 numbered pieces created in collaboration between Majuno and Jonathan Ausseresse, recipient of the Ateliers d'Art de France Competition 2021. A focal piece in our collection, it reflects the density of the contemporary universe of this master glass-maker.
It's clear as glass. Jonathan Ausseresse grew up in his father's glassmaking studio, where he got introduced to the craft at an early age. Determined to pick up the torch, he keeps the tradition going, allowing others to see this artful skill in a new light.
The procedures of manual enamelling and thermoforming are at the core of his creations and mark his identity, oscillating between transparency and opacity.
Light—and heart—catcher, this glass lady knows how to grab the eye. A mirror of the soul, she gives a glare to your intimate moments, revealing the preciousness of your day-to-day.
Solid walnut tree wood is a timeless and elegant choice if you're looking to bring warmth to your home. Its colour creates a warm and welcoming environment.
Jonathan's process of working with molten glass allows him to capture and visually express the internal movements of the material as it is transformed at high temperature. This technique gives the glass a visual memory, for it retains the imprints and trajectories of movement, forever immortalising instants of fluidity, undulation and flow.
The delicate bronze brass finish, with its warm, earthy tone, adds an authentic, natural feel while underlining the boldness of the sculpted glass.
The 4 legs are finished with delicate chamfered edges that add a touch of subtlety and reveal the attention paid to every detail.
