Majuno has created an exclusive collection of bowls in reflective, organic hues in collaboration with Nichola to elegantly present your appetisers. An alliance of chemistry and fire, be sure, your guests won't spot these anywhere else.

Nichola willingly admits that her expertise in textile design – which she acquired working in fashion – has had a strong influence on her ceramics. Her interest in texture, pattern, color and structure carries over into clay, where she soon discovers, through ceramic workshops, that she is particularly passionate about enameling.

She delights in studying and analyzing the depths of hues and the complexities of textures. The beauty of enamel intrigues and fascinates her to such an extent that experimentation is an essential part of her work. Like an alchemist, she uses and tests different copper oxides, copper carbonates and cobalt oxides until she achieves the rich, electric colors she loves. Chemistry works in misterious ways, and so the kiln produces unique pieces every single time. It's like magic.
The wild, unspoilt beauty of the Lough Neagh region where she lives, in Northern Ireland, inspires Nichola every day.
